What happens when you take a snowball for a walk? Benn and I did a few weeks ago and I finally finished my movie about our experience. Enjoy!

Illustrating a Haiku
So a friend of mine started the challenge of writing a haiku every day for a year. So far he's made to the end of January and I've found them pretty entertaining so far.

Then he asked if anyone would be willing to illustrate some of his haikus. So here's my illustration for his January 27th haiku.

playin' footsie
So today I decided I wanted to paint. I wanted to paint a picture of feet. I've been doing a lot of work about walking and taken a lot of feet-centric images... so why not keep going.
Funny thing, now that I've gotten this far I've realized that not only did I pick my "dirty foot" - the one that's covered in a birth mark that is some form of a mole, but I decided to stop the drawing along the edge of the mark. I thought I was gonna be done with skin related stuff for a while... maybe not after all.

Crabby Animation
I've recently been learning some new techniques in After Effects (the animation software) and decided to re-animate my stripie crab. Enjoy my new Barnegat Bay Animation.

The reason it's so silly long is because I want to submit it to ART in the AIR, a collaborative project between PECO and Breadboard to use the Crown Lights System on top of the PECO building in Philadelphia to showcase digital art from local artists. Hopefully the next time you see this crab he'll be swimming around up in the Philly skyline.

Happy Hallo-llama!
After making my llama rotoscope, I had llama's on the brain. So naturally that's what I carved into my pumpkin at our Jack-o-lantern carving party. Happy Halloween you silly llama!
