An experiment with time-lapse

I love time-lapse photography as well as stop-motion animation.  For my next project, I definitely want to do some sort of stop-motion animation short film, but I still haven't worked out the details.

In the mean time I really want to do a small time-lapse experiment.  I have done time-lapse before, but I did it the hard way... I carried my camera around on a tri-pod, wore a watch and at planned intervals I physically pressed the shutter button.  Now I have an iPod touch that I can download any "app" that you could use on an iPhone, iPad or Android smart phone.

I think I have a time-lapse app on here, but I'm also open to suggestions if anyone has any time-lapse apps that they love (or hate!)?  I'm even willing to pay for an app, if someone tells me its a really good one.
