Stop Motion Biscuits

While hanging out with some friends this weekend, we decided to follow through with one of our silly, impromptu ideas.  I had mentioned that I really wanted to work with stop motion animation, but was searching for a subject/story.  After a few drinks, we decided to make a short film about cannibalistic biscuits.

I was excited to apply what I learned from my first attempt at using my new intervalometer.  This time I learned that I really have to secure the tripod (it got bumped 3 times and took quiet a bit of adjusting to get lined back up again).  So enjoy my latest stop motion attempt!

  2. I want the song to keep going. You should make this into a series with a theme song.

  3. Hi Oz,
man, time lapse is so addictive! it just brings everything to life.
keep playing with it. it'll take time to figure out how you really want to use it as a tool in your work. so far, here you've used it to document an activity (drawing) and to create an animation. Ultimately, it's a process that harvests choice moments in time. There's a zillion ways to play with that...so get going on that!
Try something different each time until you find something that tells you to work on it more.
do you think your cloak and your camera will ever cross paths?

  4. Just the best video ever. I think biscuits should eat the pile of bird seed. ;)
